Employee Development University complies with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 and the California Code of Regulations, Section 67100 et. seq. EDU student records are regarded as confidential for all schools receiving assent under programs administered by the U.S. Department of Education, in accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA).

Policy

The policy strictly enforces that the Dean of the Employee Development University will maintain career development and educational records in a confidential manner. The policy also outlines specific procedures for release and retention of records and records disputes. The policy meets the IACET criteria on maintenance and availability of records.
